An Overview of Organic Chemistry: Brief Lecture Notes About this Book

The goal of this text is to provide an outline of the fundamental topics along with additional explanations in order to supplement any introductory organic textbook. Therefore, this text is not intended to be a replacement for attending lectures or as a replacement for reading the textbook or as a substitute for working through textbook problems. As an educator, I feel that it is important to challenge students and do all that I can to encourage them to develop problem-solving skills.
